Frequently Asked Questions
Are you new to Reynolda? We encourage you to get started in Small Group life by participating in Alpha, S.H.A.P.E. or a Small Group focused on the Bible during your first year of membership.
What is a Small Group? A Small Group is a gathering of people who come together on a regular basis to grow in relationship with God and each other. Small Groups provide a place to belong—a place to “do life” with others and form authentic relationships. At Reynolda, the primary way you will give and receive care and love is through involvement in a Small Group.
Who is in a Small Group? Each group has at least one leader who helps facilitate the group. The group’s members are people who share a common interest, hobby, purpose, location, or stage of life, along with a desire to grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Why would I attend a Small Group? Because God created us to be relational, life is better when shared with others. It is in the context of Small Groups that you’ll be able to form the good friendships necessary to grow, change, and mature spiritually.
How do I join a Small Group? Take a moment to think about your interests, needs, and goals. Look through this brochure and find a group that might be a good fit. Contact the group’s leader and discuss your interest in joining.
Will there be childcare provided? Childcare depends on the group, but ALL GROUPS on Sunday morning and Wednesday evening have childcare provided. For all the other groups, we list if childcare is provided.
